This workshop began its activity in 1986, and since its beginnings the goal has been to perfect the Galician bagpipe as a traditional instrument and authentic musical symbol of Galicia.

As a result of the continuous work, the remarkable timbral and technical improvements of today’s bagpipes stand out, among which the possibility of playing both closed and open fingering, the improvement of the minor scale, safer and more tuned, or the invention and design of the pallon valve in 2012, a piece that solves the problems of synchronizing the snores with the pointer, both at the beginning and at the end of the performance, and that considerably improves the variations of the snore.
